Answer
- Is there a confirmed recruitment period?
- Since EMCOM Holdings does not have a set recruitment period, we may be looking for employees at any time.
As the opportunities we offer may change each time, please check our careers page often, even if you did not apply the last time.
- Is there a strict quota set on the number of new employees chosen?
- No. EMCOM Holdings tries to hire all who are deemed to meet the required qualifications.
- Are there are any distinctions between people of different nationality, gender, age, or education in the recruitment process?
- We have people of diverse backgrounds, including people from outside Japan, working tirelessly regardless of gender. Although we do not have application restrictions on education or age, many our employees are between 27 and 35 years old. Also, we see many college graduates entering our ranks.
- I do not have any experience as an employee. Can I apply to the "career recruitment" program?
- The "career recruitment" program evaluates your career and expertise, regardless of previous positions held. Thus, if you have sufficient experience in the field, there is no reason for us to decline someone on the grounds that he or she had no experience as an employee.
- Is it necessary for applicants to speak a language other than Japanese (e.g. English)?
- Some of the literature used in IT-related sections are written in English.
However, it is not true that English is necessary for all sections.
Normally, although it may be completely unnecessary, it should be fine if an employee can understand the meaning of a few important words
(Of course, it would not hurt to speak English fluently).
- Is there a so-called "glass ceiling" for women at EMCOM Holdings?
- Yes.At EMCOM Holdings, promotions are given by evaluating the performance of each employee, not his or her gender.
- Are application documents (resume, curriculum vitae), returned? And how is my personal information handled?
- We do not return the documents submitted for the application process. Please understand that we delete or destroy the data according to the company regulations.
- What is the criteria and the process for judging the right applicant?
- An interview serves as the primary means of selection, and we focus on the character and the personality of the candidate.
- Is there a trial employment period?
- There is a 3 month period that allows both the company and the new employee to determine if they can fit in with each other.
